Meet Venue 1230’s catering chef, Dan Dinks. Having worked in the industry for 21 years, Dan is passionate about the quality of his work. By using quality ingredients, fresh meats, and fresh vegetables, he strives to deliver an experience as close to farm-to-table as possible.

Green Gables Haven had the honor of celebrating our Annual Charity Auction and Dinner at Venue 1230 this past Saturday night! Wow! What an incredible event we shared! I had the pleasure of attending an event at Venue 1230 today. It was a celebration of life with over 320 people in attendance. Although the venue is huge and that is a big group, it still felt intimate. The design is thoughtful and the facility is beautiful, but that is not what I came here to write about. The owner of this facility, Yon, is what makes this place truly special. He is the real deal….

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Yon! He’s been incredible to work with. He was so attentive to us and our guests throughout the whole night. He played the best music that kept everyone on their feet all night. Truly one of the kindest people which made our decision to have him dj for us easy. Highly recommend him for all your party events!

Yon did a fabulous job! He was communicative prior to the wedding, was very organized, and made us feel at ease. On the wedding day he had a fun, yet relaxed presence. He offered to get us drinks and continued to check on us throughout the night to make sure that we had everything we needed. The dance floor was jam packed all night and every single guest was dancing. My only complaint is that we didn’t have more time to dance!! He even drove some of our friends home at the end of the night. We would most definitely recommend Yon!
